Vic: Dentist could identify body
Victorian police hope a dentist may be able to identify a man whose decomposed bodywas found wrapped in a doona in grassland in Melbourne's north-west last month.
The man's remains were found at Brimbank Park, Brimbank, on March 19, but police believethe body may have been there since October last year.
An autopsy found the man had died of head injuries, however investigations have failedto reveal his identity.
Police say the man was of Asian appearance, aged between 40 and 50, with straight black,slightly greying hair.
The autopsy found the man had undergone dental work several months before he died,including a root canal and tooth extraction, and he had a severe abscess and bone lossaround a tooth.
